The Department of Family Medicine of the Keck School of Medicine of USC provides care for every member of the family, across generations and over lifetimes. The Division of Physician Assistant Studies within the Department of Family Medicine is seeking a well-qualified person to serve as the administrative manager. The administrative manager will supervise non-exempt staff in support of division operations.
This includes administrative, admissions, curriculum and clinical operations.
The manager is also responsible for facilities management within the division and manages day-to-day departmental and operational functions. The manager will advise division committees on new programmatic changes, policies and procedures and authorize expenditures in compliance with budgetary allowances and procedures. The manager will report to the Director of the Division.
The Division of Physician Assistant Studies is a 33-month long professional degree program that educates physician assistant students to practice medicine with the supervision of physicians. Students complete four didactic semesters and one year of clinical clerkships prior to graduation.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education
Minimum Experience: 5 Years
Combined education/experience as substitute for minimum experience
Minimum Field of Expertise: Experience in supervising administrative operations of multi-faceted department, preferably within a university setting
