About the role
Treeline Biosciences seeks a dynamic and proactive individual to manage the day-to-day office operations at our headquarters in Watertown, MA. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to work with a team of highly motivated scientists as we discover and bring innovative medicines to patients. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have excellent organizational, communications, and planning skills. This pivotal role requires great attention to detail, flexibility, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
Work closely with executive leadership, scientific operations, and human resources to provide critical support of office operations, administrative tasks, and logistical functions.
Organize and schedule activities for the site including deliveries, facilities support, and social activities. Serve as liaison for landlord-related activities and announcements.
Collaborate and partner with administrative colleagues at Treeline sites in Stamford, CT and San Diego, CA on scheduling of meetings and supporting company events.
Supervise facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering, and security services. Including negotiating contracts with office vendors and service providers, as needed.
Serve as an on-site expert for the procurement system and manage office supply requisitions and office equipment.
Partner with science operations and human resources for office moves, renovations, and on-boarding of new employees.
Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years experience as an administrative assistant or an office manager, preferably at a biotech or start-up tech company
Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail, and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to show discretion and judgement
Highly collaborative team player who is comfortable in working in a dynamic work environment
Proactive problem-solving skills to address logistical and administrative challenges efficiently and contribute positively to a collaborative work environment
Proficient with MS office (MS Excel and MS Outlook)
This role requires an on-site presence 5 days a week.
