BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB This position is responsible for the organization and coordination of office operations and procedures for the offices of Infectious Disease and the Clerkship Director Program, working at the direction of the physician leaders in these areas. Must have experience with provider schedules and metrics, along with strong data entry skills.# # JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Education Associates Preferred Minimum Work Experience 2-4 years medical office or related experience required Required Licenses/Certifications for position No Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Strong organizational skills. Strong attention to detail a plus. Strong critical thinking skills. Troubleshooting#skills Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and other basic computer skills. Transcription and moderate typing speed required. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with#staff and providers. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Note: Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position. Light lifting, pushing and pulling is required for 10-20 lbs occasionally and frequent moving of objects of less than 10 lbs is required. Frequent sitting with some walking, standing, squatting, bending and reaching is required.
