The primary purpose of this position is to direct operational and administrative activities through supervision of staff; management of business and financial functions; coordination of special projects, information systems, space allocation, asset management; strategic planning for the office; and patient activities for the Office of the Chief Medical Officer in partnership with leadership. Administrative oversight and coordination of all functions of the Chief Medical Officer and reporting groups.
Performs preliminary analysis of business plans across the Office of the Chief Medical Officer. Works directly with the staff in generating reports and providing analysis, which will impact the overall operational and financial efficiencies of areas that report to the Chief Medical Officer.
Oversees the Executive Committee to include schedules, project estimates, resource plans, budgets and status reports. Collaborates with departments across the division and institution to ensure project effectiveness and to advance the initiatives for the Office of the Chief Medical Officer. Provides coordination and facilitates communication among leadership team members facilitating strategic alignment of the Office of the CMO level projects; Synthesizes and integrates information and interactions among leadership members.
Monitors and draft communication on behalf of the Chief Medical Officer. Acts as liaison between the CMO and other constituencies, both internal and external; Serves as an "ambassador" for the Office of the CMO, supporting and expediting communication with other members of the strategic team in cases where there are sensitive issues to be addressed; Serves as a representative for the Chief Medical Officer as needed.
Participates in strategic and annual planning. Tracks strategic initiatives by monitoring progress toward meeting goals and achieving benchmarks; Coordinates necessary support for follow-through on the part of key players and provides focus for the team and individuals to sustain momentum needed to drive initiatives; Remains connected with team/committee members between meetings.

Develop, analyze and leads various projects. Conducts analysis and risk/benefit analysis and makes recommendations for improvement.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field.
Preferred Education: Master's Level Degree
R equired Experience: Seven years of experience in a healthcare environment to include two years of supervisory or program/project management experience. With preferred degree, five years of required experience to include two years of supervisory or project management experience.
Preferred Experience:Five years of project management experience in a healthcare environment.
