Administrative Coordinator
Requisition ID req29966 Working Title Administrative Coordinator Position Grade 10 Position Summary Would you like to interact with multiple departments across HSC and be a team member in a department with low turnover that encourages professional development? If yes, the Health Sciences Center has an exciting opportunity for you. As a member of our administrative team, the Administrative Coordinator will support HSC Executives and Administrators, providing a wide range of administrative services, such as:
Making travel arrangements, assistance in preparing the annual budget and mid-year budget reviews, managing office purchases, scheduling calendars, retreats, workshops, building coordinator for HSSB, conference rooms and events, conducting research and data analysis, preparing sensitive and confidential letters and reports, understanding and interpretation of UNM and Federal policies/regulations, writing Standard Operating Procedures, completing day-to-day activities for office operations, coordinating special projects, participating in meetings and other projects and duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will be responsible to organize and facilitate meetings, conferences and other special events including scheduling, ordering supplies, and coordinate setup of events. The individual will also be the building coordinator for the building.
They will notify the building of any maintenance or issues coming up, as well as handle inventory. The individual may be required to configure and manage databases, compile, and prepare reports for internal leadership and external agencies. In addition, this individual may assist in preparation of departmental presentations that will require advanced MS PowerPoint skills and the ability to research for content.

Conditions of Employment
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree
Experience working in Higher Education
Experience working at the UNM Health Sciences Center
Experience with UNM Banner Finance
Current p/card holder, in good standing
Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
