Under administrative review of the CHHS Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, serve as the key administrative coordinator for all activities that fall under the two CHHS Associate Deans and their respective areas of operations: Academic Affairs and Research.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students and the general public.
Experience in a college/university work environment.

Duty/Responsibility
Support the Associate Dean for Research (ADR) and manage all related operations, which include:
General administrative support, including management of routine emails, scheduling, special emails
Serve as a point of contact for research office
Manage purchasing/procurement for research affairs activities
Manage processes associated with graduate assistants / research assistants
Manage processes for tracking faculty research activities, including proposals, grants, and publications, etc., as directed by ADR
Manage and coordinate college-level post-doctoral fellows onboarding, trainings, and tracking
Liaison with research office and SPA/STAR and manage the tracking of submissions and reports, IRB trainings and COIs, etc.
Support special CHHS research initiatives
Admin support for research council
Manage coordination of the Grimes student research competition
Manage coordination of the CHHS biannual research conference
Support advancement of core research and clinical facilities in CHHS.
Duty/Responsibility
Support the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs (ADAA) and manage all related operations, which include:
General administrative support, including management of routine emails, scheduling, special emails,
Manage purchasing/procurement for academic affairs activities
Support special CHHS academic initiatives
Manage and provide administrative support for ADAA meetings with program coordinators
Manage the work of the Academic Affairs Committee
Liaison with Senior Vice Provost for Academic Affairs office
Coordinate support for confidential, specialized student issues, such as accommodations, student petitions, all other student form, and grievances in coordination with graduate school or dean of undergraduate students, etc.
Manage processes to support CHHS-level annual reviews of course evals, faculty teaching evals, and teaching assignments
Administrative liaison with provost's office and departments in the management of program accreditation information, self-studies, routine IR&A reports.
Manage coordination of CHHS biannual teaching conference
Facilities management support. Serve as point of contact for all facilities requests and needs across our 3 academic buildings, the HSSC, the CSDC, Browne Center. Primary administrative support for our new CHHS space advisory committee which is charged with creating systems and policies for space efficiency.
Support data collection and tracking of admissions and enrollment data as well as academic affairs expense data to support effective planning and fiscal management.
