Position Summary:
The Administrative Coordinator, SON has 2 primary responsibilities:
Coordinate Admissions by:
answering inquiries via email and phone
counseling applicants by providing extensive detailed information regarding entrance criteria
evaluating applications for completion and communicating with applicants regarding missing documents
monitoring online application system.
Tracking students who defer from semester to semester.
Provide administrative support to the school of nursing faculty and Dean which includes carrying out assigned projects and activities. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintaining/ordering office supplies
Assures office equipment and systems are functional and maintained.
Schedules classrooms for multiple users, resolving conflicting requests in a timely manner
Scheduling monthly meetings
Processes transcript requests from National Student Clearinghouse
Provides enrollment verifications
Processes maintenance requisitions, purchase orders and support tickets for IT issues
May assist with proctoring exams
Attends meetings as necessary. Provides alternate support for meeting minutes.
Education Requirements:
Experience Requirements:
2-4 years of prior office manager experience
College Admissions experience preferred.
Computer skills: (Microsoft Word/Excel/E-mail, Canvas).
Ability to work as part of a team.
Excellent customer service, communication, organizational, time management and computer skills required. Should be familiar with outlook and excel.
Pay Range: $19.20 - $25.58
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
All new employees are required to undergo and pass all applicable state and federally mandated pre-employment screening requirements.
