McNeese State University invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of Administrative Coordinator 1 in the McNeese Bookstore.
The entrance hourly rate is $8.30 and is non-negotiable.
This position serves primarily as a Cashier. This person will also assist in the receiving area of the Bookstore and other duties as assigned.
This position is considered non exempt under the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position is full time, 40 hours per week, 8:15 am through 5:00 pm. This position does have some physical requirements to include the ability to consistently lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, stand on feet for long periods, reach above shoulders, lift and carry small to medium weight, bend, and stoop.
This position may work overtime and will be compensated with compensatory leave, will work some Saturday's, and occasional overtime as necessary due to workload. A comprehensive background check will be performed for this position to include a criminal misdemeanor/felony check, previous experience check, and education/credentials check. This position may require a valid driver's license and a clear driving record.
