Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as an Administrative Clerk in our Hospital and Community Based Crisis Program at Behavioral Health Network! Hospital and Community Based Administrative Clerks work directly with Crisis Supervisors and Clinical staff in processing non-clinical documentation into the Electronic Clinical Record. Administrative Clerks are very important component of a well-run office and hospital environment! Administrative Clerks work among BHN staff, and the general public, using their organizational skills and their ability to prioritize work with medical records efficiently and under minimal supervision. Finally, Administrative Clerks are competent in preparing documents, updating records, facilitating phone calls & other various office functions based on the needs of the Crisis program.

BHN's Crisis Program provides 24/7 front line response to individuals of all ages who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis, regardless of insurance. BHN provides services on a mobile basis, including home and community-based settings or in an emergency department when needed.

Administrative Clerks at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities:

  • Minimum of 6 months office experience (required), in a healthcare setting (preferred).

  • Prior medical assistant experience (preferred)

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).

  • Prior customer service experience(required).

  • Good computer skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, internet, and word processing and email systems (required).

  • Reliable transportation during each shift to provide community based services (required).

Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Bilingual Administrative Assistant in the Corporate & Liberty Street Clinic programs at Behavioral Health Network! This position is split 20 hours/ week at the Corporate office and 20 hours/week at the Liberty Street Clinic office. NOTICE In accordance with the BHN Mandatory COVID vaccine policy - all staff, interns, temps, residents and contractors are required to be fully vaccinated no later than day one of employment. Medical or religious exemptions will be offered and must be approved prior to starting work. The same guidelines noted above apply during flu season (defined as December 1st - through end of flu season as announced by the CDC) for BHN's Mandatory Influenza Vaccine policy. Additionally, BHN is a Tobacco Free workplace. All Staff, interns, temps, residents and contractors agree not to smell of or use Tobacco or ENDS products while on paid work time or within sight of any BHN facility. Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Corporate & Liberty Street Clinic programs with the following: * Providing administrative assistance to the Executive Assistant. * Coordinating executive communications, taking calls, & responding to emails. * Interfacing with individuals served, staff, and visitors, as well as key stakeholders including board members and executives. * Scheduling & sending reminders about meetings and appointments. * Maintaining the appearance of the waiting room and office areas. * Providing support for company committees.
