PURPOSE:

The Administrative Associate III, under general supervision provides complex administrative support work.

DESCRIPTION:

Administrative Support: 50%

  • Prepare and route written communications and reports.

  • Respond to requests for information and documentation.

  • Maintain calendars, schedules, and appointments.

  • Proofread technical, policy, or presentation documents.

  • Coordinate meetings and events.

  • Monitor tracked information and provide status reports.

  • Performs data entry and retrieval and maintains data files.

  • Works with community outreach and LSUASC visitors

Student and Staff Support: 50%

  • Coordinate activities and assign work to student workers.

  • Provide procedures training to new students and staff.

  • Maintain quality control/quality assurance within the office.

  • Assists with issuance of purchase order, receiving and p card purchases.

  • Make travel arrangements and set up itineraries and make hotel reservations.

  • Performs and assists with other job-related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Three (3) years of related experience.

  • Additional education may be considered as a substitution for the minimum experience required:

  • Associates degree and one year of related experience.

  • Ability to multitask and work professionally and cooperatively with others.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills - word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.

  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates Degree in related field.

SALARY: $16.91/hourly ($35,172.80 Annually, Approximately)
