Provide administrative Contracts support for the business in Dayton, Ohio.

The Finance Strategic Capabilities Unit delivers the expertise and business acumen to increase value across the enterprise by providing actionable information with recommendations and opportunities to drive sustainable business growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Review and prepare project closeouts for Contract manager review and approval.

  • Assist with closeout packages, coordinate with Task Order (TO) project managers to ensure final report has been submitted, and Government Furnished Property is dispositioned.

  • Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) input in accordance with Contract requirements, i.e., monthly deliverables, final shipments.

  • Assist Contract Managers in closeout of Non-Disclosure Agreements.

  • Assist with compiling information in response to audit request.

  • May review contract documents, modifications and change orders; to prepare contract review records and obtain necessary management approvals.

  • Prepare and assist Contracts managers in maintaining required contract administration documentation and Contract files and electronic storage of documents in accordance with company procedures and government regulations.

  • Assist the local and remote Contracts managers in completing a variety of tasks.

  • Utilize various Systems to run miscellaneous systems reports as needed.

  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

  • Perform other duties as necessary.

On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.

  • This is a part-time position - 15-25 hours per week.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Bachelor's or Master's, may substitute for two years of related experience. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.

  • Solid communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.

  • Must have computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Applications) and solid administrative support skills.

  • Ability to work with considerable independence.

  • Must have excellent attention to detail.

  • Must have ability to work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Some administrative experience specifically supporting a contracts department.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $38500 - $51000

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
