Job Description:

Assist with clinical scheduling/telepsych as well as other administrative associate duties for the Psychiatry department.

General Notes

The position will assist with clinical scheduling/telepsych as well as other administrative support duties.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance/support for clinical scheduling/telepsych and be responsible for day-to-day operations of the Psychiatry department working as part of a team of faculty and staff.

  • Perform general office tasks such as answering phones, mail distribution, office upkeep, scanning, filing, and photocopying.

  • Use computer to generate reports, create presentations, and conduct research.

  • Maintain floor conference room calendars.

  • Maintain supply inventory and office equipment as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of experience at the Administrative Assistant level, or high school graduation or GED, and five (5) years of clerical experience, including one year of experience at the Administrative Assistant level. One year of full-time equivalent applicable experience may be substituted for each thirty semester hours of college credit earned, or vice versa however, a minimum of one year of applicable experience is required. Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience at the Administrative Assistant level. Comfortable troubleshooting technology issues. Direct experience as the in-person, first point of contact, with internal and external customers. Ability to communicate effectively in person, on the phone, and in writing. Working knowledge at the intermediate-level with the PC versions of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Competencies preferred to succeed in this position are customer focus, organizational skill including managing competing priorities, problem solving, ability to take action, interpersonal and communication skills, integrity and ethical behavior.

Salary Range

$35,000 + depending on qualifications
