Robert Half's permanent placement team is working with an local leader in business to business furniture sales and interior design to find an all-star Sales Support Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate will have some experience supporting a sales or design team and have a strong project management mind set. Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role is ideal in this supporting role. This opportunity is great for a candidate comfortable in a small, but growing, fast paced environment where juggling of multiple projects and tasks at one time is the norm. This position has the potential to grow into more of a project coordinator or design focused role for the right candidate, but no matter what, this offers a great opportunity to work for a great, family run business on the fast track to even greater success. A few of the key responsibilities for this position will include:

  • Manage inbound calls, email and chat support

  • Handle all sorts of inquiries, from billing to order support to dispatch

  • Give exceptional customer service in a timely fashion

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and office administrative skills

  • Excellent computer skills

  • Prior experience in dispatch, logistics, or a small customer service environment

  • Positive attitude and an engaging businesslike approach

  • Sound written and verbal communication skills

  • Solid understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, and Zendesk is preferred but not required

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

  • Customer service experience required

  • CRM experience desired

  • Proficiency in scheduling

  • Foundational knowledge in order entry

  • 3+ years of past relevant experience

  • Demonstrated talents in communicating and interacting with clients/customers, both internal and external

  • Proven experience going the extra mile to solve complex customer inquiries via extensive research
