Job#Description Job Summary: Performs a variety of confidential, complex secretarial and administrative tasks requiring initiative, discretion,and independent judgment in support of the Vice President.
Individual must present a professional image toall hospital customers and staff. Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and have the ability to prioritizework tasks, and work well under pressure. Experience/
Ability to type accurately, effectively, and operate a variety of automated office equipment. Capable of managing multiple tasks in an organized manner, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines. Minimum five years high level administrative/secretarial experience required.
Must be computer literate and proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills to interacteffectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and organizational levels. Skills in formulating correspondence and advanced knowledge of correct business English, grammar,spelling, and punctuation.
Education: Formal secretarial education preferred. High School Dipolma or better required Licensure/Certification: None Physical
Ability to lift at least 20 lbs. Must be able to sit 2-4 hours per day, stand/walk 2-4 hours per day. Must be able to type 1/3 of the time Work Environment: Ability to work well under pressure with frequent interruptions and deadlines.
