Job Description:
Provides clerical support to three or more department managers, along with their staffs.
Duties may include: preparing correspondence, report and presentation creation, database creation/management, and calendar/email management.

Proficient in three or more vendor software programs specifically required by a department.
Previous hi-level secretarial experience is required.
Minimal supervision is provided.

Administrative Assistant – Office of General Counsel (OGC) Key Objective: Must possess the desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment and think independently. This position provides administrative support to the Deputy General Counsel of the Global Transactions and Operations team of 20 professionals. Duties and Responsibilities: Under minimal supervision, performs the following administrative duties with an eye on confidentiality and at times a considerable degree of independent decision making. Support to the Deputy General Counsel and Operations/Transactions Team of professionals: * Schedule meetings and arrange for conference rooms, including any equipment needed and food services * Coordinate travel reservations and related arrangements effectively * Prepare and track electronic expense reports for manager and team and assist with any follow-up activities needed * Maintain extensive calendars (via Outlook) for assigned professionals * Responsible for generating and maintaining senior level correspondence that includes proofing and finalizing * Assist with CLE meeting processes * Pay monthly invoices as assigned * Create producer licensing and customer services agreements/amendments and publish using SharePoint Support to the Records Manager and Producer Licensing Team: * Assist when needed with the ACE Records Mailbox- Monitor transactional activities and complete all necessary tasks. * Assist with the Resolve Exceptions reports with IM inventory that includes compiling/configuring comprehensive Excel spreadsheets * Provide support as needed to the Producer Licensing team and assist with the distribution and maintenance of Producer Contracts. Minimum Requirements: 3 - 5 years of demonstrated competence in administrative assistant functions or related experience Desired Qualifications/Skills * High degree of professionalism and a demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential information * Able to work in a fast paced environment with accuracy * Excellent working knowledge of PC * Proficient with various Microsoft software programs including Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to create PowerPoint presentations with minimal direction * Must be able to multi-task, be flexible in meeting changing work demands/priorities * Experience with electronic and paper records management practices * Thorough knowledge of the organization, personnel and policies * Thorough understanding of the role and objectives of the department * Excellent customer service skills * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Self-starter with willingness to take initiative * Demonstrated ability to think and work independently with limited supervision * Proven ability in planning, prioritizing, and organizing diverse workload * Effective interpersonal skills to be capable of working with all levels of office personnel Chubb offers a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits package including life, health and dental, vision, a generous retirement savings plan, disability coverage, stock purchase plan, flexible spending accounts, tuition reimbursement, and business casual dress.
