General Description:
The Administrative Assistant serves as the assistant for the Office of International Education and Sponsored Programs.
Duties and Tasks:
Answering general questions about admission process for international students by answering phone calls, responding to emails, assisting in person and via Zoom.
Collecting and reviewing application documents
Responsible for entering data in database, uploading documents into Image Now and using SIS to verify student information.
Assisting with F1 orientations and other on campus activities.
Special Assignments
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
KSA's/Required Qualifications
Required KSAs:
Ability to perform multiple tasks quickly and efficiently.
Able to maintain a positive and calm demeanor and disposition.
Demonstrated ability and patience to work in a multicultural environment with individuals for whom English is not their primary language.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite specifically Word, Excel, and Teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
Customer service experience.
Experience inputting data into Excel
Experience working in an office environment.
