Administrative Assistant To Athletic Director/Athletic Facilites Usage

Summary: This position is responsible for all clerical duties in the athletic office including scheduling with internal and external vendors and Athletic Facilites Usage This position works closely with MHSA to ensure accurate scheduling of all athletic events.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of two years' experience in an office setting

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required

Must be able to work with minimal supervision

Strong communication skills both verbally and written

Excellent organizational skills

Ability to take and follow directions easily

Good computer operating skills

Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook are required and other computer applications preferred Willingness to perform other duties as assigned

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience or knowledge of District specific application such as iVisions, Arbiter Sports scheduling Program, Dragonfly Max

JOB DUTIES:

• Assist as needed with MCA Clinic

• Assist with District / State sporting events

• Answer routine phone inquiries, take messages and route calls

• Maintain accurate files, records and accounts

• Prepare requisitions for office supplies, supplies for athletic events etc.

• Arrange and schedule student and team transportation

• Schedule officials and provide a weekly schedule of events

• Maintain strong communication with local media

• Order, process and maintain materials and equipment

• Process payments for game officials, team coaches and building workers

• Communicate with building contacts to secure and prepare contracts both in and out of district groups requesting the use of District property

• Other duties as assigned

LOCATION: District Offices Building

SALARY: $15.53 per hour

EMPLOYMENT: 12-months/year; 8 hours/day
