As the Administrative Assistant 3 supporting our Surface Water manager and staff, we will rely on you for a variety of complex administrative tasks including: research and special projects (i.e., organize outreach events, track budget expenses, assist with meeting facilitation and problem solving); general duties include travel coordination, managing meeting and project action items across multiple staff members, publishing public notices, filing, scheduling meetings, responding to file requests and customer inquiries, and creating/maintaining standard work.

Ideal candidate will possess:
Three years responsible administrative experience; OR Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the assignment and two years responsible administrative experience; OR Master's degree in a field appropriate to the assignment and one year responsible administrative experience.
Skilled in verbal and written communication, Outlook calendar management. Ability to plan, analyze, coordinate activities and establish priorities; answer phone calls and direct to appropriate party; develop effective operating procedures, draft presentations and briefing documents.
Excellent time management skills required.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of administration; value stream priorities and admin support needs; travel request standard work and policies; agency or program rules, regulations and operating procedures; project management; problem-solving skills.
Driver's license required - possession of and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver's license. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver's license record checks. Must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete any required driver training.
