Our company is seeking an Administrative Assistant to handle administrative and clerical duties for the officers of the company. We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a team. The ability to multitask, while maintaining complex schedules and deadlines, is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver and organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely and organized manner is key to success in this position.
Provide general administrative and clerical support including typing, mailing, scanning, faxing, and copying to management
Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
Prepare and modify documents
Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence
Perform data entry and scan documents
Schedule and coordinate meetings
Complete business forms and prepare check requests
Prepare and process expense reports
Assist in resolving administrative problems
Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail
Anticipate the needs of management in order to ensure their seamless and positive experience
Any other related duty as required and assigned
Education & Experience
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
At least 2 years of administrative experience; experience in a legal setting a plus.
Skills & Requirements
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook a must; Westlaw a plus
Knowledge of operating standard office equipment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize projects
Strong problem solving skills
Strong research skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently while delivering excellent business results under demanding timetables.
High level of ethics and integrity
Strong understanding of and commitment to confidentiality, particularly in a corporate setting
