MAIN FUNCTION: Under supervision of the Manager of Griffin Hospital School of Allied Health Careers, the Administrative Assistant Provides support to the School of Allied Health in all administrative secretarial duties as requested.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Orders and maintains supplies for office as required including all equipment necessary for didactic and clinical classes.
Composes routine letters, correspondences, reports etc. as required
Creates and maintains confidential student files.
Compiles and updates statistical data for the school as well as in- services, educational entries and needs assessments for the Department of Professional Development.
Oversees clinical externships for the Phlebotomy program
Coordinates school apparel orders and payments.
Keeps financial records and is responsible for collecting and submitting all monies paid for tuition to the Business Office.
Prepares end of month financial reports using an excel spreadsheet.
Conducts interviews as needed
Maintains Gradelink (student information system) date entry of student demographics and required documents
Schedules meetings, secures rooms and sends out notices via email, takes minutes and makes agendas.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent, experienced preferred
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1 year of Administrative Assistant experience
HOURS: Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
