POSITION SUMMARY: This position supports the administrative work for the Association. Must demonstrate a commitment to quality customer service and the Y in Central Maryland's core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility in all aspects of jo performance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform receptionist duties: greet visitors, answer and direct phone calls and emails from customers to relevant associates.

  • Monitor office supplies, equipment and furniture inclusive of ordering, unpacking and distributing.

  • Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail, coordinating with the Y Distribution Center as needed.

  • Assist with CRM management related to gift processing data entry functions, including:

  • Gift/grant pledge entry

  • Gift/pledge payment processing

  • Weekly campaign progress reports

  • Manage donor pledge/payment acknowledgement process and distribution.

  • Provide other administrative support as necessary, including scheduling and coordinating group meetings, maintaining calendars, preparing expense reports, and travel arrangements.

  • Assist various departments on projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

  • High School degree or equivalent experience plus experience in business office.

Experience

  • 3 years of work experience in an administrative role.

  • Must have exceptional attention to detail.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize.

  • Must be a self-starter and driven.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience using MS Office and Google with the ability to learn new software applications.

  • Experience with Blackbaud's The Raisers Edge or similar CRM software necessary; database management a plus.
