Job Summary
You will provide overall support to the Academic Field-Work Coordinator (AFWC), Academic Capstone Coordinator (ACC) and Program Director in the University of Michigan-Flint's Occupational Therapy academic program.
You will report administratively to the department Office Manager, but will functionally report to the Coordinators and Program Director.
Responsibilities
Admissions
Process admissions for prospective and incoming students
Coordinate admissions interviews with prospective students
Maintain student admission records
Capstone and Fieldwork Coordination
Communicate with students and clinical education facilities
Track clinical education placements
Validate student compliance for program and clinical education placements
Track placements of students at clinical sites
Prepare reports for coordinators and department director
Maintain the Fieldwork handbook and the Clinical Education Handbook
Plan department events
Set up access and compile evaluation data in fieldwork database
General
Be a backup to other staff when needed
Attend required meetings and take minutes
Provide exceptional customer service
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
Four (4) or more years of administrative experience
Work Schedule
Hybrid:
A consistent hybrid work schedule (some days on campus and some days working remotely) is available for this position at this time. However, this is subject to change based upon the duties of the position and the needs of the department.
