Job Summary
Serves as administrative assistant to the Director and faculty in the School of Teacher Education and Leadership and is responsible for the overall day-to-day operation of the office: providing support to faculty, staff and students and supervising student workers.
Required Qualifications
Working knowledge of general office practices, procedures, and equipment.
Demonstrated ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks.
Experience providing administrative and/or programmatic support.
Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet research.
Experience working with purchasing and budget process.
Demonstrated excellence in organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to relate well with a variety of people.
Additional Considerations
Prior experience in a higher education or K-12 setting.
Knowledge of Banner and eVA computer applications.
Knowledge of grant processes.
Familiarity with Microsoft Teams.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative without supervision.
