Paul Mitchell The School is seeking an entry level Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of accounting, human resource and administrative tasks. The Assistant responsibilities will include data entry, preparing reports, filing, keeping employee files up to date, and various administrative support duties. Familiarity with Quickbooks to process business transactions, such as accounts payable and receivable.
Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
Type accurately, prepare and maintain documents and records.
Reconciliation of various balance sheet accounts.
Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database.
Provide assistance and support for company personnel.
Research, track and restore accounting or human resource documentation.
Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas.
Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws.
Constantly update job knowledge
Accounting and Human Resource experience preferred.
Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
Competency in MS Office (primarily Excel), and accounting software (Quickbooks).
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
Accuracy and attention to detail
Aptitude for numbers
Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
Data entry and word processing skills
