Position Summary: This position provides clerical support to Staff Development team and the Topeka Correctional Facility Training Center.
Job Responsibilities: (may include but are not limited to the following)
Maintains up-to-date and accurate training files for all staff and contract staff trained at the Topeka Correctional Facility.
Maintains Training Center schedule.
Enters all staff training into Learning Management System (LMS).
Communicates scheduling with instructors and trainees including all changes.
Ensures classrooms are properly arranged and supplied for each schedule activity/class.
Instructs online training including LMS, FEMA, and NIC.
Responsible for supervising a resident porter.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
Six months of experience in general office, clerical or administrative support work. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
Licensing & Certification:
Valid Driver's License
Post-Offer, Pre-Employment Requirements:
Applicants will be subject to background check and criminal history investigation; must pass a drug screen and a TB test and physical unless promoting, transferring, or demoting from another safety sensitive position within the same agency.
