Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • At least 1 year of Administrative Assistant experience preferred

  • Solid understanding of customer service

  • Proven ability to use the internet for research

  • Accomplished computer skills is a must. VIEW JOBS 12/17/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-17T00:00 <p>3 Months with possibility to extend beyond 6 months. </p><p><br></p><ul> <li>Minimum of 2 years of experience. </li> <li> Previous (two (2) to three (3) years) directly related experience in operations analysis, finance or accounting in a large organization, preferably in health care </li> </ul><p><br></p><p>Job Description: The TPL (“Third Party Liability” team) utilizes various systems to pull summary of medical charges (“courtesy statements”), etc., and provides requested information for assigned Medi-Cal patients to various requester's of information (i.e. members, attorneys, insurance carriers, etc.,). Performs routine calls to various requestors to obtain additional information and/or clarify questions, as part of the data gathering process, to provide courtesy statements. The requested documents are organized and sent to requesters via fax, email and mail. • Performs data entry into TPL Database. Provides information &amp; documents for financial audits both internal &amp; external Performs other ad-hoc projects/tasks as necessary. </p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Top 3-5 Daily Responsibilities:</strong> </p><p>1. Accesses multiple systems to print out courtesy statements for requesters </p><p>2. Prepares documentation packet utilizing checklist </p><p>3. Access database to input information </p><p>4. Scan and save documentation </p><p>5. Working on team-based projects </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Top 3-5 Required Skills: </strong></p><p>1. Good customer service skills </p><p>2. Strong attention to detail </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Excel Desired Skills: </strong></p><p>1. Knowledge of Medi-Cal / Health Care</p><p> 2. Outlook experience </p><p>3. Access DB experience </p><p>4. Knowledge using Multi-functioning office equipment (i.e., printing, scanning, copying and faxing) </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Soft Skills: </strong></p><p>1. Strong communication skills </p><p>2.
