JOB SUMMARY

Performs a variety of responsible administrative and training functions to ensure compliance with legally mandated, contractual, and company mandated training requirements. The job will perform a variety of administration functions, including: Conducting new hire orientation utilizing a multi-site, point-to-point technical interface. Works as an integral part of all of the office staffs in supporting the individual office with new hire and other training requirements.

Distinguishing Characteristics:

Primary job function is supporting the office/site with new hire orientation and other administrative functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1.Conducts new hire orientation, utilizing both in-person as well as point-to-point remote web-based delivery systems. Provides appropriate pre-hire access, instructions and documentation to new hires. Ensures attendance is accurately and timely documented, and timesheets are submitted to the Payroll department for processing.

2.Administers and scores tests, reporting results, organizes training manuals and supplies, reference library, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.

3.Develops training schedules in conjunction with management; coordinates training activities so as not to conflict with client service schedules. Requires flexible scheduling in order to support new business startups or other unique business needs.

4.Maintains records and prepares reports to evaluate performance of training activities, and to monitor progress of trainees.

5.Performs other administrative tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for assigned office or as assigned.

6.Performs additional functions, duties and specific tasks of a similar nature and scope as required for assigned office and / or contract

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY

Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference depending upon the nature of the position

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be a citizen of the United States

  • Ability to acquire and maintain the required level of Department of Defense (DoD) Security Clearance. Must have a minimum of an active Interim Secret granted.

  • Ability to acquire and maintain any other specific special clearances/access requirements (e.g. JPAS).

  • At least 18 years of age

Education/Experience

  • Two (2) or more years of progressively responsible business experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the Company. Additional relevant experience can be substituted for the required education on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education.

Background Prerequisites

Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks, controlled substance testing, and behavioral selection survey, in addition to any mandatory licensing requirements

  • Thorough understanding of standard office procedures and practices.

  • Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form.

  • Ability to write reports and correspondence in a clear and concise manner.

  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.

WORKING CONDITIONS (Physical/Mental Demands)

  • Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.

  • Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.

  • May be required to travel to sites.
