Provide administrative support to the General Counsel as well as a number of senior attorneys in the Legal Department.
Perform complex administrative activities supporting the day-to-day work of the Legal department. Will support the General Counsel as well as multiple attorneys.
Manage calendars with attention to detail and proactivity.
Make complicated domestic and international travel plans with attention to detail and on short notice.
Assist in timely creation and editing of PowerPoint presentations, reports, agendas, communications, and other materials.
Compose/edit letters and memorandums.
Perform general office duties, including managing telephone calls and business visitors and applies departmental knowledge in response to questions; routes inquiries to appropriate personnel or department.
Interface with all levels of Panasonic personnel and external contacts to coordinate departmental efforts.
Establish and maintain confidential departmental files; maintains files/tracking on high priority matters and follows up on outstanding issues when required.
Responsible for excellence in meeting preparation, set-up, and follow-up including preparing presentations/agendas/materials, documenting notes, and coordinating follow-up items to completion, etc.
Identifies, initiates and coordinates projects to fulfill departmental administrative needs.
May assist and track departmental budgets and assists management in determining budget requirements working with others in the legal department.
Other duties as needed.
Previous experience working in a legal department or law firm preferred.
Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple/concurrent requests from several executives efficiently.
Demonstrated professionalism and ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality and discretion, and act with excellent ethics and judgment.
Ability to be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer service and response.
Strong organizational skills, time-management, detail-orientation, and world class prioritization and multi-tasking with a commitment to quality.
Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
Graphic Design experience preferred.
Proactive thinker, who looks for opportunities and proposes solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to establish and build partnerships with all levels of management and business partners.
Must be personable, interested, engaged, and collaborative.
5+ years of administrative support experience, ideally including experience supporting senior executives in a highly dynamic or technology environment or other high-touch, heavy-volume industry.
College degree highly preferred.
