Requirements

  • Expertise in email

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Familiarity with using the internet for research tasks

  • At least 1 year of Administrative Assistant experience preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Primary responsibility is to provide workplace safety leadership for safety programs and processes, training and risk management solutions across the Culver's restaurant system. Responsible To The Guests, Franchisees, Team Members and Stakeholders of all Culver's restaurants Mission That every guest who chooses Culver's leaves happy and that every Franchisee that chooses Culver's stays happy. Reports To Director of Risk Management Essential Functions * Manage Culver's Workplace Safety programs * Develop, implement and monitor comprehensive safety processes, training programs and management practices. * Comply with applicable governmental safety rules/regulations and Culver's standards. (OSHA, hazard communication, lock out/tag out, ergonomics, asset protection and emergency preparedness). * Investigate and report on near misses and injuries to team members and guests and assist in claim management. * Review and analyze historical claim experience for frequency and trends to identify areas of opportunity to improve overall team member and guest safety. * Responsible for team member security related issues, planning and training. * Investigate and respond to restaurant Risk Management Team and other team member safety concerns. * Manage Workers Compensation program and Claims Management * Conduct claims reporting, investigations and management * Lead and coordinate safety, workers compensation, loss control services, OSHA/BLS injury and ergonomic programs. Including reporting, investigations and tracking claims. Administer general liability, auto and property insurance claims for Support Center and company-owned restaurants * Develop, maintain and test crisis management and business continuity plans * Crisis Management and Business Continuity * Develop, maintain and test crisis management and business continuity plans * Participate in and/or co-chairs Crisis Management Team * Serve as a member of various cross-departmental teams, making recommendations on safety and security practices to ensure appropriate legal compliance * Training and Safety Programs * Manage, conduct and develop content for Risk Management and Safety Related training workshops and classes * Oversee CPR program, including train CPR/AED and First Aid certification classes, and maintaining equipment and related safety supplies. * Support Food Safety programs and provide cross-coverage and back-up to Food Safety Manager * Assist with other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications Bachelors or Associate degree preferably in Safety or a related field; ideal candidates would have a minimum of 2 years related experience OR equivalent combination of education and related experience.
