  • Handle telephone calls

  • Navigate through word processing, filing, and faxing

  • Familiarity with using the internet for research tasks

  • QuickBooks experience desired

  • At least 1 year of Administrative Assistant experience preferred

  • Competent computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, self-starter who is able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment. Learns quickly and has the ability to change in a fast paced environment and handle the pressure of meeting tight deadlines. This is a full-time position that will provide support to the sales, promotions, programming and management teams. Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Promotions: * Assist the promotions director with attending, setting up and taking down at events * Assist with website and podcast updates * Assist with creating ads/graphics for web and print * Assist with creating, posting and maintaining surveys, contests and Fan Club Administrative: * Assist sales staff with various projects * Update and maintain account lists * Update and maintain one sheets and media kits * Input trade and station promotion contracts in Wide Orbit * Assist management with various daily, weekly and monthly tasks * Assist phones and traffic when needed Minimum of 2 years related general administrative experience Must be able to lift 25 lbs Must be able to work nights and/or weekends when needed for promotions Proficient in Microsoft suite Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is helpful Web graphic design and publishing is a plus Wide Orbit software is a plus Salem Media Group is an equal opportunity employer.
