Our client is looking for a Administrative Assistant to help their operations team processing new and existing client accounts in the financial industry. This Administrative Assistant position will help the financial team in processing applications and ensuring documentation is received and completed accurately, as well as check various online and database systems for updates. The right candidate will have strong attention to detail and will have worked with either Schwab or Fidelity in a similar role, as that experience transfers well into this role. This position is on the Northside of Indianapolis, and has the potential to be a temporary to hire opportunity. Some additional essential responsibilities: - Serve as the liaison with custodians and ensures accurate transactions are maintained

  • Calculate and process RMDs for clients

  • Compose and answer client and customer correspondence

  • Complete applications and other documentation as requested

  • Verifies receipt of documents by custodians

Requirements

  • Professional communication skills

  • At least 2 years working with either Fidelity or Schwab, processing paperwork/documents

VIEW JOBS 10/30/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-01-28T00:00 PRIMARY PURPOSE: This position is responsible for providing support in the administrative functions of the Financial Reporting department of Simon Property Group. The position will provide primary support the Senior Vice President of Financial Reporting and Operations, and also supplemental support, as needed, to the Vice President level staff in the department and their teams. This position will serve as a representative of the department and must possess effective communication skills and technology proficiency, as well as have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner and to ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: * Greet and direct all incoming calls. This will include internal calls, as well as extensive phone contact with external parties. * Coordinate conference calls, schedule meetings, manage calendars, and schedule all necessary travel arrangements. * General office administrative duties such as greeting visitors at the reception area; handle incoming and outgoing deliveries; type correspondence; file. * Preparation of various projects that may require the use of Excel spreadsheets, Power Point presentations, and Word, etc. * Maintain calendars and schedule all necessary travel arrangements. * Complete all expense reports ensuring accuracy and timeliness of submission. * Maintain courteous and professional relationships with co-workers and clients; professionally interface with all internal departments of Simon Property Group. * Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. * Maintain department records and files. * Maintain department activity reports. * Ability to search legal documents in various sub-systems of record for the company. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Five or more years of administrative experience preferred. * Advance level of Microsoft Word, knowledge of Excel and Lotus Notes. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Team player with willingness to assist others. * Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
