The administrative assistant provides essential part-time administrative support for the Registrar's Office, assisting with the daily operations. This role acts as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing support for greeting visitors, printing and sending transcripts, enrollment and degree verifications, answering questions and providing information to constituents who visit in person, call, or email the office, processing student records change requests, providing support to staff in the office and other duties assigned by supervisor.
Essential Accountabilities
Assist with student registration and enrollment processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with institutional policies.
Maintain and update student academic records, including grades, transcripts and personal information.
Assist with processing graduation applications
Handle requests for transcripts, enrollment verifications and other official documents.
Respond to inquiries from students, faculty and staff regarding academic policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with FERPA and other regulatory requirements.
Perform general office duties, including answering phones, managing emails, scheduling appointments and maintaining office supplies.

Education and Experience
A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.
Prior experience directly related to the listed skills, duties and responsibilities is preferred but optional.
Familiarity with a higher education setting is beneficial but optional.
