General Information:
The General Education Program office is accepting applications for an administrative assistant. Serves as the first point of contact receptionist for the program, curricular support specialist, office operations manager, and executive support for the Senior Associate Vice Provost. Works closely with the other staff in the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs and Curriculum.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Receptionist:
promptly and courteously
and paper documents
the General Education Program
Curricular Support Specialist:
classes and manage enrollment
undergraduate catalog and program
publications, print and digital
complex data and preparing reports
exercising confidentiality
Office Operations Manager:
administrative organization and efficiency
monitoring accounts, including monthly
reconciliations, reimbursements. budget
revisions, accounting vouchers, small purchase credit card, agency transaction vouchers, personnel action requests
Ordering and purchasing supplies
Event planning (e.g., conferences, speakers, workshops)
Managing website, social media, and other campus communications
Executive support for the Senior Associate
Vice Provost:
Screening and answering calls
Managing calendar and scheduling

Preparing correspondence
Occasional help with special projects
May be required to perform other duties as assigned
