Job Description

Under minimal supervision, provides personal secretarial, clerical and administrative

support services for Nursing Administration. preparing correspondence in final form, receiving visitors,

scheduling appointments and meetings, maintaining patient files, scheduling classes and

conducting special projects as assigned. Duties require a thorough knowledge of

supervisor's areas of responsibility in order to maintain patient charts, schedule

appointments, send out correspondence and conduct special projects. Performs office

management functions such as purchasing standard supplies, keeping appointment and

class books, bookkeeping and billing functions.

Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Experience: At least 2 years administrative assistant experience.
