Description: Administrative Assistant to the Athletic Director
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to be flexible and adapt as needed between in-person environments.
Ability to effectively communicate with district personnel, schools, the community, students and families in a respectful manner to those seeking assistance through the Athletic Director's office.
Advanced knowledge of office administration and systems, office technology, workflow, procedures, record keeping systems, business correspondence, and reporting formats.
Skilled in computer operations with the ability to use school management system (PowerSchool), athletics/activities system (8to18/Snap), and Google Suite applications (sheets, forms, docs) with knowledge and ability to perform mail merge functions and create formulas in excel.
The ability to accurately enter and retrieve data with attention to detail.
Ability to work well independently and in a team setting.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Exceptional listening, verbal, and written communications skills.
Effective problem solving and customer service skills.
Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask effectively.
Ability to read, interpret, explain, and follow rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Job Summary:
Qualifications: High School Diploma
QUALIFICATIONS, CERTIFICATES AND REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
Previous administrative assistant experience working in a school office setting strongly preferred.
Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment physical provided by the district.
Must have valid Illinois Driver's License
Ability to be trained in CPR, AED and First Aide
