Unique opportunity to join the dynamic, collaborative and well-established Admissions team at Stella Maris. In 2020, Stella Maris opened The Sister Mary Karen McNally, RSM Rehabilitation Center featuring 60 private rooms, state-of-the-art equipment, therapy garden, bistro and Maryland's only sub-acute rehabilitation center featuring the Bioness Vector Gait & Safety System.

The Admissions team, led by the Director of Business Development, Sales & Marketing, consists of Referral Coordinators and Admissions Nurses, working together to review referrals from local hospitals, and other entities, seeking sub-acute rehab and long-term care placement. The Admissions team, based on-site at Stella Maris, features a renovated office space with optional standing desks allowing the team to stand up comfortably while working.

Responsibilities

To assist the referral and admissions processes and provide clerical support to Social work Dept.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and EXPECTATIONS

  • Greets families, answers phones in professional manner.

  • Displays exemplary customer services standards in all interactions.

  • Schedules appointments with families and staff.

  • Submits payroll for dept employees.

  • Invites families for Orientation.

  • Manages the facility tour book for families.

  • Conducts facility tours as needed.

  • Completes daily census.

  • Manages and compliles monthly statitistical reports.

  • Communicates internally and externally as needed.

  • Ultilizes excellent organizational skills in all administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma

  • Minimum of 2 years office experience

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
