BILINGUAL SPANISH CANDIDATES ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY POSITION SUMMARY The Santa Clara County Office of Education is accepting applications for Administrative Assistant II. Under the supervision of an assigned administrator, performs a variety of clerical and secretarial duties to relieve the administrator of administrative and clerical detail; coordinates flow of communications and information for the administrator; prepares and maintains a variety of manual and automated records and reports related to assigned activities.

EXAMINATION PROCEDURES: Following the final filing date, the qualifications of all candidates will be evaluated. Candidates who meet the minimum qualifications will be invited to participate in a computerized exam, scheduled for Friday, July 26, 2019.

Candidates who pass the computerized exam will be invited to participate in a panel interview with subject matter experts scheduled for Tuesday, August 6, 2019. Based on the final scores of qualified candidates, Classified Personnel Services will establish a ranked candidate list. Selected candidates from the list will be invited to a second interview with the hiring authorities, date TBA.

Candidates will be invited over email to participate in examination and selection steps, using the email supplied within their Governmentjobs.com application, or as updated by candidates in their Governmentjobs.com master profile. Therefore, it is recommended that candidates check their email at least daily. NOTE: Examination procedures are subject to change as deemed necessary by the Director - Classified Personnel Services.

Candidates who test successfully for placement on the eligibility list may be certified to other related positions without further testing requirements, OR job posting announcements.
