Job Description:
TrAC at Iowa State University is currently seeking applicants for an Administrative Assistant II. TrAC(Translational AI Center) breaks down disciplinary silos to bring together core Iowa State artificial intelligence researchers and subject matter experts interested in applying new technologies to their work.
The Administrative Assistant II reports to the TrAC Assistant Director and serves as a highly visible representative of the Translational AI Center. The Administrative Assistant II will perform a variety of administrative support duties to streamline collaborative efforts including:
Schedule and meeting management
Making travel arrangements for TrAC faculty, staff and students
Procurement and maintenance of materials and supplies
Event planning and execution
Assist with promotion and implementation of TrAC initiatives including website updates, social media, drafting newsletters and marketing materials, etc.
This is a two-year, fixed term position with the opportunity for renewal.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship.
