Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our Student Wellness team. This role will provide essential administrative support to the Department of Student Wellness, assisting the Director and staff with a variety of tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong communication and organizational skills, committed to fostering a supportive and welcoming environment for students and staff.
This position is part time, 20 hours a week, and is eligible for ISU benefits.

Examples of Duties:
Provide administrative support to the Department of Student Wellness and the Director by serving as a liaison to external contacts, scheduling meetings, and assisting with various tasks and projects.
Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, correspondence, and meeting minutes.
Assist staff with scheduling spaces, creating travel itineraries, preparing for programs, booking reservations, and ordering supplies or equipment.
Manage Student Health and Wellness unit requests through Smartsheet, including presentations, programs, training, and resource requests.
Conduct moderately complex research, gather data, and prepare department summaries and reports.
Support staff by entering data into department recreation management software and/or website as needed.
Purchase office supplies and maintain supply inventory.
Assist the director in compiling and analyzing financial and operational reports.
Assist staff in completing expense verifications to meet University policies.
Ensure compliance with university policies and federal laws, including FERPA, HIPAA, and Title 42.
