Description of Job
This position will provide the Department of Social Work with expertise necessary to enhance public relations, organize and maintain financial accounts, assist in departmental operations, and provide academic-related support as needed. This position will assist in developing and maintaining cohesive engagement among the BSW and MSW programs.

Primary Duties:
Departmental Operations
Financial Accounts / Budgeting for Departments
Tracks, reports and distributes a budget report as requested by the department chairs with monthly expenditures.
Assists with management of financial accounts for the Department of Social Work including budgeting and purchase orders related to the departments, labs, studios and offices.
Completes all departmental budget reports for the Accounting Office.
Conducts yearly inventory for shipping and receiving.
Processes all official forms for Auxiliary Services and Accounting Offices.
Coordinates with adjuncts to complete performance contracts regarding the duties of workshops and documentation of payment.
Completes all required university reporting on behalf of the department.
Academic and Travel Coordination Support for Departments
Assists department chair(s) and Faculty (including Full and Part-time ) in facilitating the academic needs of students. This includes but is not limited to:
Reception Desk/Customer Service for Departments
Provides front office customer service for the Department Social Work by prioritizing and scheduling tasks, providing clerical support, serving as front-line access to the public and delivering accurate information about the department and programs.
Drafts, composes, proofreads, and produces final copies of correspondence including letters, memos, social media posts, handouts, schedules, programs and spreadsheets using software programs compatible with departmental specifications.
Salary Range:
$37,920.00 - $53,100.00 Annually
