The Administrative Assistant II reports directly to the Directors of Workforce Development and Continuing Education and performs a wide range of administrative functions to facilitate the daily operations of the workforce programs division. The Administrative Assistant II provides a variety of administrative tasks including research, preparing presentation, special projects, scheduling appointments, high-level communications and correspondence, and various liaison duties. The Administrative Assistant II provides customer-oriented quality service to the students, faculty, staff, and guests of Baltimore City Community College displaying exceptional organization, professionalism, communications, and attention to detail.
Associates degree
Five years of administrative assistant experience
Proficiency with MS Office software (including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio) Outstanding customer service skills
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Experience to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Exceptional organizational skills
Bachelor's degree
Seven years of administrative assistant experience
Experience in an institution of higher learning or in a state agency
