The Administrative Assistant II assists the Executive Director and alumni program staff with the department's administrative activities and coordinates various administrative processes and projects. This includes, but is not limited to: operational support (answering phones, correspondence, budget/account tracking, P-card and requisition processing, etc.); event and program support (taking RSVPs, event preparation (set up/tear down), gather and transport event supplies, help make travel arrangements, nametags, etc.); assigned duties related to online community management, CRM data entry and report development; and may require occasional evening and weekend hours.

The Administrative Assistant II is the primary administrative support position in the department, and also provides support for the alumni association board of directors, including making meeting and menu arrangements, taking minutes and communicating with members. The position will also support the Travel Bears program with traveler correspondence and communications.

The Administrative Assistant II interacts daily with alumni, faculty, staff and students. The Administrative Assistant II will assign and monitor the work of student worker/s as assigned.
