Job Summary

The Administrative Support I provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. Supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist Group Management & Marketing team

  • Set up new groups

  • Evaluate & prepare group census' to determine eligibility for group coverage

  • Follow up to fulfill carrier requirements as needed

  • Provided support to agents

  • Assist Commissions department

  • Data entry of commission received

  • Process and monitor incoming commissions

  • Reconcile statements with receipts

  • Organize & file all documents

  • Assist New Business department as needed

  • Data entry of new applications

  • Update status of pending applications

  • Download data from carrier websites

  • Monitor processing of data files from carriers

  • Assist Contracting & Licensing department as needed

  • Pull terminated agent files and box in storage

  • Digitize paper records

  • Manage various mailboxes

  • Review and distribute as appropriate

  • File

  • Answer phone and route calls as needed

  • Schedule supply orders as needed

Primary Skills & Requirements:

  • At least High School Diploma required

  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office specially with Excel and Acrobat.

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and planning skills.

  • Ability to effectively communicate via phone and email.
