Healogics is the largest provider of advanced wound care services in the United States, treating more than 300,000 chronic wound patients annually across over 600 sites. With an aging society, obesity and diabetes on the rise, and an uptick in surgical procedures, the number of patients with non-healing wounds that would benefit from expert care is dramatically increasing. As a result, the company is working to provide our differentiated, quality outcomes to as many patients that would benefit through our out-patient clinic partnerships.

The HSP Payroll Administrative Assistant is responsible for overseeing all tasks related to the payroll administrative support on the HSP Team. This will include assisting with timecard corrections and approval of leave of absence & paid-time off (PTO) request from the field.

All Healogics employees must perform their job responsibilities according to all Healogics policies, Hospital policies, as well as to accrediting organizations, federal and state regulation, and to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines, as applicable.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Weekly oversight and processing of timecards for all HSP entity team members;

  • Coordinate corrections of timecards with HSP entities;

  • Coordinate with HSP Directors and Operational leadership to review and approve Time Off;

  • Facilitate schedule build out in HRIS;

  • Review weekly reporting of scheduled hours for accuracy;

  • Collaborate with internal Payroll team to resolve payroll errors

  • May answer and direct phone calls promptly and courteously by responding to questions or transferring calls to the appropriate department/staff member

  • Receives daily mail and packages and sorts appropriately; ensures daily outgoing packages are picked up by vendor each day

  • Provides administrative support as needed to the HSP team on a variety of assignments and special projects; must be able to work collaboratively.

  • Provides administrative support to the meetings & events team with various projects, to include planning small-scale meetings/events under the guidance of the HSP team

  • Performs other duties as required

Required Education, Experience and Credentials:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED); required

  • Min of one (1) year related experience

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven success as a Payroll Administrator or similar role

  • Subject matter expertise in the Workday HRIS

  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Good time management and organizational skills

  • Degree in business administration, finance or accounting preferred
