General Job Description

Under general supervision, performs overall administrative, and clerical support for the Stormwater Department operations. Performs data entry and serves as a backup Road and Drainage Hotline Operator. Provides assistance to department management, co-workers and the general public as needed.

Duties for this Position

    1. Performs various administrative support functions to assist the operation of the Stormwater Department.
      2.Serves as the back-up for the Cityworks Coordinator in their absence and performs those duties as assigned.
      3.Must be able to interact and communicate well with general public in a fast pace setting.
      4.Creates service requests and assigns to appropriate staff member
      5.Enters and manages data within the work order function of Cityworks
      6.Prepares correspondence, reports, official documents, etc. as directed.
      7.Assists with FEMA documentation and reporting.
      8.Assists co-workers in any areas necessary.
      9.Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Position Minimum Requirements

  • Requires Associates Degree in secretarial science, and/or two to three years of experience in an administrative office support position, or any equivalent combination of training, education and experience. Must be computer literate, and have the ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications.
