Become a part of the strength within. Hexcel is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Burlington, WA, USA location. The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

Comply with and understand all safety rules and job hazards. Perform job responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner. Greet and receive all plant visitors and maintain visitor log; distribute and collect visitor identification badges.

Ensure ITAR and Export Control procedures and policies are followed by employees, visitors, and all guests. Assists with administrative duties in support of payroll processing. Answer incoming phone calls and forward messages as necessary.

Screen calls to ensure Hexcel employees time is used efficiently. In cooperation with Site Accountant, act as primary point of contact for Accounts Payable. Prepare and apply postage to out-going mail; receive, sort and distribute incoming mail.

Inventory, procure and stock supplies in front office. Coordinate catering and set-up for visitor meetings. Coordinate VIP site visits, including transportation and hotel arrangements.

Maintain all communication boards, including TV monitors in break rooms. Perform similar job-related duties as assigned. The balance of the job is dedicated to plant administrative support, such as developing general correspondence, filing, scanning documents, updating spreadsheets, forms and databases and creating presentations, charts and graphs for Plant Management and other staff, as necessary.

Qualifications: Minimum Education Required: High school diploma. 2-year Associates Degree or equivalent education preferred. 3-5 years general clerical experience including administrative office experience. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

Strong (minimum intermediate level) PC skills, including experience with current PC software such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook. Sufficient keyboarding/typing speed and skills to meet established workload and deadlines.

Ability to prioritize tasks, organize workload and meet deadlines.

Ability to use office equipment, such as copier, scanner, VoIP phone system, and fax machine. Eligible candidate must be: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, a person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, a temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Act, a person admitted in refugee status, a person granted asylum.

Communication Skills: * Effective written and verbal skills, ability to interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Mathematical Skills: * Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Able to use a calculator. Other skills: * Typing minimum of 60 wpm. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Exchange, and Lotus Notes. * Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. * Self-motivated. Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills. Ability to collaborate and function as a member of a team. * Must possess a strong sense of urgency. * Should be comfortable with the use of computers and frequent use of RF equipment.
