Responsibilities

  • Contribute to a positive working environment and maintain positive relationships with staff and vendors

  • Manage complex, busy calendars; coordinate business travel and itineraries

  • Provide administrative and clerical support including tasks such as coordinating expense reports, filing, copying, ordering supplies, setting up new hires

  • Plan and coordinate small meetings and events, prepare agendas, take meeting notes, and monitor action items

  • Gather information to help prepare reports, presentations, meeting materials

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 3 years administrative or executive secretarial position in corporate setting

Our customers enjoy greater control, less friction, and a lower price point, while we handle the complexities of container delivery.</p> <p><br></p><p>Terminal 49 is looking for a customer-centric “Operations and Customer Success Manager” who will be managing the overall operations and responsible for the effective and successful client management.</p> <p>The operations of our service is core to our business and has the ability to wow our customers. While using software automation to take the pain out of many manual tasks, transporting a container from the port to the warehouse is still a complex process with constantly changing requirements, unexpected events and a multitude of factors to consider. </p><p>As a manager, you’ll be in charge of managing our key accounts and running the internal operations of our service. You’ll be interfacing with both customer and trucking vendors, ensuring that the transportation of shipping containers is on time and up to our customers expectation. </p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p><p></p><ul> <li>Manage key accounts and support customers to ensure they are satisfied. </li> <li>Become a subject-matter expert on Trade and drayage operations </li> <li>Vet and On-board trucking companies to be successful Terminal 49 trucking partners.</li> <li>Manage accounts payable and receivable and help automate the process</li> <li>Closely work with founders and engineers to design and prioritize features that will improve the operations based on your feedback and in-depth knowledge. </li> <li>Design and execute customer on-boarding process. </li> <li>Use Terminal49.com and other software tools to manage entire operations and customer support. </li> <li>Negotiate rates with customers and partners. </li> <li>Recruit and manage operations team as the business grows. </li> </ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills and Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>Very personable and friendly individual who deeply cares about making customers happy</li> <li>Highly organized and very self-reliant.
