Gaming Laboratories International is a growing company with over 27 years of experience in providing world-class testing, certification and professional services to the global gaming industry. GLI is seeking for an Administrative Assistant that will be responsible for providing one or more departments with administrative support, including but not limited to typing documents, internal and external correspondence, scheduling, data entry, and filing.

Duties & Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Answers telephone, mail, and e-mail correspondence, providing general information and taking messages, as needed

  • Answers departmental questions and directs individuals to the appropriate party, as necessary

  • Organizes and prioritizes large volumes of information

  • Provides assistance with daily department operations, as needed

  • Obtains and assembles information for use by the department

  • Ensures accuracy and timeliness of all work performed

  • Distributes correspondence or other documents to the department, as needed

  • Handles confidential and non-routine information in a professional manner

  • Works independently and within a team on various projects

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Experience, Education, Skills and Credentials:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency

  • Must have a valid driver's license

  • A minimum of 1-2 years related experience is required

  • Strong problem-solving ability, critical thinking skills, creative/innovative thinking, and attention to detail

  • Must have excellent writing skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel is preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision

  • Ability to handle confidential information

  • Must have a high comfort level interacting with executives, clients and customers

  • Must have the ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, with other members of the team and clients/prospective clients

  • Must have the ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines

  • Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness

  • Must be able to work overtime, as needed

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Must have the ability to work at a computer for extensive periods of time

  • Must have the ability to read (both paper and computer screen) for extensive periods of time

  • Must have the ability to listen to and speak with internal and external parties on the telephone for extended periods of time

  • Must have sufficient hand, arm and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and other Company equipment

Job Description: This position provides administrative support to the Office of Mission Integration & Office of Campus Ministry while exercising discretion and confidentiality. Responsible for dealing with all members of the GCU community reflecting the image of Catholic identity, legacy of Catherine McAuley, assistance and support based on mercy Core values and the mission of Georgian Court University. Essential Functions: * Provide Administrative support to the Executive Director for Mission Integration by taking initiative and being proactive. * Coordinate preparations for meetings by providing background briefings/materials, process meeting notes, assist and distribute records of assignments and follow-up on delegated tasks as identified at meetings to assure deadlines are met. * Coordinate National Conference Call Meetings for the Conference of Mercy Higher Ed Mission Officers * Coordinate and assist with Mercy International Initiatives. * Manage and prepare logistics for events, conferences and hospitality visits by arranging for the use of facilities, room reservations, catering, assist in developing marketing materials, strong follow-up on all details, preparation of all materials including presentations and purchasing of needed supplies. * Manage and prepare all Mission Orientation Sessions for staff, faculty and students including preparation of materials, arrangements for locations, catering, follow-up and keep track of all RSVPs. * Assist the Executive Director for Mission Integration in planning budgets, review monthly reports, maintain a record of expenditures and prepare needed requisitions. * Greet and assist all who come to the Office of Mission Integration & Office of Campus Ministry to foster an awareness of Georgian Court University as a Catholic Institution of higher education sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy. * Arrange travel internationally and stateside for departmental staff and selected student groups. Coordinate, collect and assemble all documents pertaining to the travel including but not limited to expenses and receipts. * Assist with all daily operations such as department purchasing of supplies, equipment and other needs, Amex and budget reconciliation, maintain all filing systems both electronic and hardcopy, organize and schedule calendar appointments, conference calls, answer phones, and field calls with a patient professional demeanor incorporating customer service reflective of the Mercy Core Values. * Assist and support the Mercy Collegiate Society, Kappa Gamma Pi and Sigma Phi Sigma. * Coordinate Mission activities, trips, speakers' series and common read, etc. * Coordinate Critical Concerns Week, Mercy Week and other new initiatives: plan meetings, logistics of all events, marketing materials, catering, follow-ups, arrange for speakers and contracts, payments, lodging, etc. * Compose & prepare email correspondence, letters reports and forms. * Keep up-to-date and knowledgeable in all things related to the Sisters of Mercy and their Critical Concerns * Assist in developing and maintain the Office of Mission Integration Web site. * Contribute to office, department and university goals by accomplishing related duties as assigned. * Serve as the main contact for Campus Ministry. * Provide information to students and others in an efficient and patient manner. * Maintain appointment calendar and meeting schedule for Director of Campus Ministry and Chaplain. * Organize and maintain correspondence, files and monthly tracking of Campus Ministry events and annual report. * Utilize computer software to produce professional documents. * Prepare annual budget reports, and yearly activity reports. * Place orders, submit bills, track expenditures and prepare financial reports. * Maintain records of Campus Ministry events and prepare monthly and annual report. * Create flyers, brochures, booklets, song selection lists, and other announcements. * Book weddings for the Dorothy Marron University Community Chapel with the requirements of the Diocese of Trenton, and coordinate collection and transfer of funds to Bursar's Office. * Maintain current list of Campus Ministry Club members, Celebration Singers/Musicians, Ministers of the Eucharist, and Lectors. * Assist with gift collection for the Christmas Giving Tree, Thanksgiving Food Baskets, Easter Basket Project and all monthly collections of food or clothing for Catholic Charities. * Maintain Campus Ministry website. * Post all prayer requests and maintain death registry of all GCU friends and family within a year for * Memorial Mass. * Supervise student assistants and liaison between Financial Aid and Campus Ministry. * Integrate the core values of respect, compassion, integrity, justice, and service in all aspects of interaction. * Other projects as assigned.
