DreamWorks Animation Television has an immediate opening for an experienced Administrative Assistant supporting two attorneys in our Production Business & Legal Affairs Team.

  • Coordinate operations and provide admin support in a high volume business and legal affairs department.

  • Administrative duties including phones, scheduling, filing, and creating documents for distribution.

  • Prepare correspondences and route contracts for review and approval.

  • Utilize and help maintain DWA's legal database and filing system.

  • Interact with external contacts, including agencies, law firms, management companies and other studios.

  • Liaise with internal teams such as Development, Production, Contract Administration, Clearance, Human Resources and Accounting as needed in support of the deal-making and contract negotiation and drafting process.


  • Ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant.

  • Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail are critical.

  • Must be highly proficient in Word, Excel, and Gmail.

Desired Characteristics

  • Business Affairs, Legal or Production environment experience preferred.

  • Bachelor Degree preferred.

  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize and problem solve.

The intern will work alongside the brand marketing team to support the launch of our global kids content to drive global awareness and viewership of our series. In this role, you will work with the marketing team on the development, creation and execution of our television marketing campaigns. These initiatives encompass brand strategy, research, building presentation decks and creative materials, information aggregation and tracking and general support of Marketing teams. A successful candidate will need to be flexible, a good communicator, organized, proactive and have an eye for detail. Responsibilities: ● Perform market analysis and research on competitive landscape ● Track Marketing, Advertising and Digital trends for new opportunities ● Assist in organization and filing materials and assets ● Help update presentations, calendars, and timelines ● Support collection of sales data ● Assist with tradeshow preparation ● Assist with intake and distribution of materials ● Support meeting preparation and follow-up ● Assist with weekly recap and update reports ● Support marketing team on daily administrative tasks ● Support marketing inventory management Qualifications/Requirements * Very strong written and verbal communication skills * Able to build cross-divisional and inter-company relationships * Works well in dynamic, changing and team oriented environment * Extremely positive outlook and "can do" attitude * Highly organized and detailed oriented * Resourceful in finding solutions to problems * A meaningful interest in TV Marketing is a must * Ability to constantly multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment * A passion for general entertainment, animation and kids related pop-culture. * Ideal candidate should be working towards a degree in one of the following areas: Marketing, Public Relations, Mass Communications, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, or related majors. * Candidates must be very digitally savvy and connected on multiple social media platforms. * Must have exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills. Desired Characteristics ● Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at a College/University (or equivalent), or be a recent graduate (within six months of graduation date) ● Must be 18 years of age or older ● Ability to commit 12 weeks to the internship and work onsite in Glendale, CA ● Ability to work part time (16-24 hours/week) from September 16, 2019 - December 6. 2019 ● Ability to provide own relocation, housing and transportation ● Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship ● Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and ability to prioritize tasks ● Ability to work well under pressure and within deadlines ● Must be well organized and detail oriented ● Must be team oriented but able to work independently on occasion ● Must demonstrate tact and diplomacy ● Knowledge of Key Note, PowerPoint and Excel is preferred. ● Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Powerpoint, Excel, Google Docs (and Photoshop is a plus) ● Experience with social media marketing strategies preferred. ● Current class standing of Junior or above (or equivalent) NBC Universal Glendale AZ
