The Administrative Assistant (AA) serves as the principal administrative assistant and management support in the Imaging Service (Radiology and Nuclear Medicine) at VA Central California Health Care System. The AA reports directly to the Administrative Officer and works in close communication and collaboration with the Supervisory DRT (Chief), and Chief of Imaging Service to maintain effective operations management.

Duties will consist of, but not limited to:
performing work in support of management and/or program analysis functions in which knowledge of the purpose, operation, methodology and techniques characteristics of specific management/program analysis functions is required.

He/she acts as an integral part of the communication and administrative processing regarding the Imaging Service-UCSF Medical Student Program, Internal medicine residency, the Fresno City Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist Program, and any new student affialiations.
working with the staff of UCSF Fresno and Fresno City to assign medical residents and student rotations in Imaging Service.
Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met. Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 430pm.
